                  Let’s go to the Market!!  Fairbanks and surrounding areas have some of the best Farmers Markets !!  Expect to see an assortment of bright colors of fresh fruits and veggies.  Be sure so keep an eye out for local honey.  There are so many talented local artist creating stunning jewelry and amazing art that shouldn’t be missed!!!


    The Southside Community Farmers Market is a friendly, community-focused, outdoor market featuring local farmers and producers. The Market is focused on  high quality, fresh food available to all  of our community. Southside Market is located on the corner of 24th Avenue and Rickert Street in the South Cushman neighborhood. Use Your Food Benefits at the Southside! All food vendors accept WIC, Senior Coupons, and offer 50% OFF with Food Stamps!  Market season: is open from July to September every tuesday afternoon.


    The Tanana Valley Farmers Market showcases a wide variety of Alaska Grown produce and plants and arts and crafts.  It is the oldest established farmers market in Alaska and the only one located in its own permanent building . Located at the corner of College Rd. & Caribou Way 2600 College Rd.  Market Season: May 11th 2019- Sept. 21st 2019 Wednesdays – 11am to 4 pm  Saturdays – 9 am to 4 pm


    The Ester Market is an outdoor, community market located at Ester Community Park, next to the Ester Fire Station, off the Old Nenana Highway. The Ester Community Association sponsors this weekly open air market.  The market features farm produce, art, crafts, baked goods, jellies and jams, and many other locally produced items. Market season: June-September every thursday evening.
